^{_{General Admission Requirements}}

^{_{Applicants should meet the following general admission requirements and should have sufficient financial support for full time of study at York College of Business.}}

• ^{_{Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;}}
• ^{_{TOEFL score of 500 for the paper based test or 173 for the computer-based test; or IELTS score of 5.5 with no band scored lower than 5.0; or acceptable equivalent}}
• ^{_{If student's English score is below the minimum requirement, he/she may be admitted into YCB's English Language program prior to entering YCB's Diploma Program.}}
• ^{_{Additional academic prerequisites may be needed for specific programs or courses.}}
• ^{_{Applicants with an acceptable combination of education and working experience but who do not meet the formal requirements may apply for evaluation by the Admission Board of YCB.}}

^{_{1.  Please read all the instructions carefully}}

^{_{2.  Provide all requested information}}

^{_{3.  Complete specific application form(s) for the program selected}}

^{_{4.  Complete  the Student Services Request Form (if applicable):}}

•         ^{_{Accommodation}}
•         ^{_{Travel Arrangements}}
•         ^{_{Medical Insurance}}
•         ^{_{Airport Pick-up}}

^{_{5.   Submit application forms, with supporting documents and the application fee.}} 

^{_{6.    York College of Business will  issue a conditional letter of acceptance.}} 

^{_{7.    The applicant should then submit proof of payment of the required deposit.}}

^{_{8.    Applicants should send a copy of their student visa and inform YCB of the date of arrival as soon as the visa document and travel information are available.}}

^{_{Important Note:}}

^{_{For all the Programs: Students who do not meet YCB's English requirement MUST take an English Placement Test (FREE – there is no fee for this English Placement Test).}}
